Built in the 1970’s by luthier Paul Berger (one of 210 made). Paul was a luthier for Martin during the 1960s- early 1970s. After leaving the company for health reasons, C.F. Martin gave Mr. Berger permission continue using the logo
- Body: 3-piece, Brazilian rosewood back and sides; Adirondack spruce top
- Neck: Mahogany with ebony fingerboard
- Ebony bridge
- Inside soundhole: brass plate is inscribed “Paul Berger St Augustine”; “D-35 Berger” is stamped on the neck butt
- Steel support rod in neck (non-adjustable)
- Weight: 4.75 lbs
- Includes hardshell case and a copied article about the builder
